By following the fair trade principles, this company works to identify and enhance the roles of grass root farmers to improve their livelihoods and the well being of the disadvantaged communities.

“Farming for Health” is a unique organization, established in 2013 as a non-profit, service oriented company registered at the Company Register office in Kathmandu under ‘the company Act 2063’, and affiliated with Social Welfare Council, Nepal, under the ‘Social Welfare Act 2049’. The company is social service oriented, and adheres to the principles of corporate social responsibility, by working toward social development through commercialization of organic farming and spices that hold great potential for sustaining livelihoods in the hilly and mountainous region of Nepal.

This not-for-profit company has its head office in Kathmandu, while maintaining a network of farmers, producers, and suppliers of MAP and spices in the hills and mountains of Nepal.
